- These terms and conditions are in order to protect both you and ourselves and clarify the contractual position between the parties in advance of any treatments being offered or products being sold to you. You will be asked to sign a document confirming that you have read and agreed with the terms and conditions but in any event will be considered to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions as a result of you booking any treatments with Misty’s Nails & Beauty.
We would ask that you arrive 5 minutes prior to any appointment time. Please note that all appointments will end at the scheduled time in order not to delay any other customers during the day. All charges for appointments will be applied in full whether or not you arrive on time or part way through your allotted time. Please note that in relation to your first appointment you should arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your treatment as we will require you to complete a personal consultation card in order to assist us assessing your suitability for the treatment that you require.
- Purchase of products.
All beauty products purchased from us by you must be paid in full at the time of placing the order.
We do understand if clients are unwell or have other commitments but please give us as much notice as possible if you wish to rearrange an appointment. We reserve the right to charge for non-attendance or where cancellation is shorter than our policy. Our cancellation policy is as follow:-
- For all beauty appointments of up to an hour we operate a 48-hour cancellation policy with an administration fee for cancellation of £25.
- For all beauty appointment over an hour we operate a 48-hour cancellation policy with an administration fee of £50 on cancellation.
- For clients in a course of treatments who fail to attend an appointment more than once or cancel outside of our cancellation policy we reserve the right to deduct a course from the session from that particular client.
- Data Security.
You in reading these terms and conditions confirm that you have also read or General Data Protection Policy and agree with the terms and conditions contained therein and will complete and provide to us the relevant consent form required under the GDPR legislation.
- Health and Medical Conditions.
You will be required for certain treatments to complete prior to any treatment a medical questionnaire. Please note that we are not medical practitioners, but we do rely upon the accuracy of the information that you have provided. If you fail to disclose any information to us as part of the medical questionnaire, we can accept no liability or responsibility for any allergic or adverse reaction you may have from any treatments.
- Patch Testing.
Patch testing is a requirement for any eyelash or brow tinting services provided by us or any semi-permanent makeup. Patch testing must be completed at least 24 hours prior to any appointment for the treatment itself to be carried out and failure to have patch testing done will result in a refusal by us to provide the relevant treatment.
- Refusal of Treatments.
We reserve the right to refuse treatment if our professionals consider that the treatment is not a suitable option for an individual. We have a strict patient selection criteria to ensure our patients are medically fit to undergo a particular treatment. It is therefore possible that we advise, in your best medical interest, that a treatment is not appropriate. We will also not proceed with the procedure if we feel that your expectations exceed the result achievable.
- Complaints Procedure.
We are committed to providing a professional service to all our clients and are always happy to hear constructive criticism from individual clients. If you have a complaint about either a procedure or the way you have been dealt with by Misty’s Nails & Beauty, then you are required to put that complaint in writing no later than 7 days after the date of incident and/or treatment giving rise to your complaint. That complaint must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org we reserve the right not to answer or deal with any complaints that are not provided to us in accordance with this complaints procedure.
- Nail Repairs.
We will carry out a repair to broken nails with no additional charge within 3 days of your nail appointment. After that period any further repairs will be charged at £3.50 per nail.
- Age Limits.
We do not carry out nail extensions or eyelash treatments on any person aged under 16 years. We do not carryout any semi-permanent makeup or meso face treatments on any person under 18 years of age. We will at our absolute discretion provide eyebrow shapes and gel polish treatments (along with booking of professional removal) on a person aged 12 years or over provided a parent or person with parental responsibility is present with them at the time of the appointment.
- Payment Terms.
Payment terms are strictly prior to or on the day of treatment itself. No credit will be extended to any customer under any circumstances.
Please note that any information, description, photographs or other demonstration or representation of the results of any treatments that we preform are for representation purposes only and cannot be used as a benchmark or in any way to guarantee the results of the treatment that you yourself will receive.
